We’ve had multiple recent reports of children and teenagers taunting alligators around our community ponds. This behavior is extremely dangerous.
While many of us value living close to nature, alligators are wild animals and can react aggressively when provoked. This is especially true this time of year, when they are more active due to mating season and migration.
Please remind your children to keep a safe distance and never approach or engage with wildlife. Safety depends on everyone making responsible choices.
