On Feb 16th, the Board of Directors voted to replace Melrose Management Company as our vendor and transition to Don Asher. The main reason for the transition is due to Melrose’s lack of urgency and consistency when working with the Board of Directors. In addition, during this process of receiving bids the BOD identified a large annual cost savings by switching. Melrose Management has been our Management company since 2015, and has increased their rates every year. After 7 years, the fee was substantially higher than the going market rate. It is estimated that Latham Park will save roughly $10k to $15k a year by undergoing this transition as well as see enhanced services to the community through automations Don Asher has in place. Latham Park is in the very early stages of this transition, therefore until further notice please continue to conduct business as usual with Melrose. We will provide updates to the community as details are finalized.
