Latham Park is a wonderful and diverse community, enriched by the variety of religious beliefs, sexual orientations, races, and other perspectives that make our community a dream place to live. As we approach election season, it’s important to remember that political views will differ from person to person. While we may not always share the same opinions, we must continue to treat each other with respect, as neighbors and human beings first. During the recent hurricane cleanup, we saw the incredible power of community, with everyone coming together to help each other out. That spirit of unity is what makes our neighborhood special.
Regarding political signs, our community covenants clearly state that no signs of any kind are permitted, except for “For Sale” or “For Lease” signs. While members of the Board may have differing personal views on allowing signs in yards, we are bound by the covenants to enforce this rule. Violations will be issued by Don Asher Management until any changes are made through a majority vote by the community.
We understand this may not be welcome news for those with signs currently displayed, but we kindly ask for your compliance. Violations will be sent as signs are observed, and repeated offenses may require legal mediation, which can become costly. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Laura at Don Asher Management.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping Latham Park the harmonious and beautiful community we all cherish.
