For tonight’s election we did meet the requirements to call the vote on new board members. As terms are only one year all 5 board seats were open. The winners were:
- Denver Fox (Current)
- Bill Colburn (Current)
- Emily Wilcheck (Current)
- Haley Pereira
- Fernando Perdomo-Connot
Elections for Amendments
Sadly we were unable to reach our necessary minimum to call the vote on the amendments. We were very close and we thank all who came out and voted both in person at the pool and electronically via our online voting system.
Our current bylaws require that we receive affirmative votes from 2/3 of all member households — that’s 230 votes — in order to pass any of the proposed amendments.
Legal consul advised we could keep our voting open on amendments for another 30 days to see if we could reach Per counsel we have up to 90 days to close the voting, and our first attempt will be at the next board meeting which will also be a continuation of the HOA meeting. If necessary, we may continue yet again to the following month, etc. until we either get enough votes in or time runs out. We are so close! So if you have not yet had the chance to vote please do so before the next HOA meeting on May 18, 2022.
