The following details were reviewed during the emergency Board meeting on Monday, June 12, to provide an overview and history of the Pride discussion in Latham Park
- End of June, 2021 – Violation notices to homes displaying Pride flags were sent by the management company against a board majority vote. Since this targeted only Pride flags and not other non-compliant flags, this caused uproar from the community.
- July 1, 2021 – The board voted and approved by a majority to retract violations and allow for Pride as a decorating holiday for Latham Park. Flag enforcement rules did not change.
Pride month decorating holiday - July 14, 2021 – A resident town hall was held at the pool to discuss this issue. This was heavily attended with significant support for Pride.
Town hall - July 21, 2021 – A board of directors meeting occurred where an in-person vote was made approve Pride as a decorating holiday again.

Meeting minutes — 2022-06-15 - June 17, 2022 – Based on guidance, the Board decided to not enforce flag violations as long as they do not represent hate speech.
- July 20, 2022 – A decorations committee created, and lead is voted and approved. Decision to not enforce flag violations was communicated during board meeting.
