The Board of Directors will be meeting on November 8th at 7pm to review the proposed 2023 HOA budget. A copy of the proposal, including comparison to the 2022 budget, has been sent to all members via US Mail — you can also view it here.
All homeowners are encouraged to attend to discuss and ask questions. If you are unable to attend or would like to send questions in advance, they can be sent by email to boardofdirectors@lathamparkhoa.com.
The 2023 budget will be finalized and approved at the conclusion of this meeting.
Could we get a year to date report or at least expenses for the first 3 quarters prior to the meeting?
So you convinced us last year we needed to suck it up and fund the reserves. Now another huge increase. Let’s try and cut expenses to balance vs increase dues. Let’s see Line by line where we appropriated money first 3 quarters. ALL EXPENSES, NOT GROUPED.
We need and actual expenses for the first 3 quarters of 2022 then a estimate for the last quarter. your budget has round numbers, expense totals don’t have round numbers

The meeting is the same day as Election Day. I’m aware that polls close at 7pm, but if you’re still in line at 7pm they let you stay.
I asked Don Asher numerous times for financial statements to no avail until a board member sent them to me.
Also, where are the financial statements for the year ended 12/31/2021. There should be a review performed from our outside accountants. Where is that ? we did not receive a copy, and did not get any answer from Don Asher.
In addition , the budget analysis sent to homeowners was insufficient. It should have actual for 12/31/2022, ytd 9/30/ 22 and ytd with forecast til year end 12/31/22.
When asked for this , received no answer.
Why is the landscape contract (first line item on budget) going from 74k to 115k? That seems like a large increase?
